Artwork
My masks began in 2004 as a way to process self-doubt and judgment, both my own and the world’s. The distorted forms mirrored how I sometimes felt: unseen, vulnerable, and searching for acceptance.
Over the years, they’ve become more personal, drawing from my experiences as a woman, a Latina, and the daughter of immigrants. Braids, ribbons, flowers, Charro bowties, and feathers carry pieces of my culture and my spirit, the joy, pride, and fire that define me.

Each piece is alive with emotion, touch, and reflection, a reminder that beneath every mask lies both struggle and beauty. Through color, texture, and form, I invite you to pause, to feel, and to truly see.
Through color, texture, and form, I create masks that expose what we hide -
stories of culture, emotion, and the beauty of being human.
Art that speaks in silence - inviting empathy, reflection, and connection.
